Radio Sur Sangam, the bond of music

The hot and happening Radio Sur Sangam is targeted to the Indian sub-continent listeners from ages 8-80 . Radio Sur Sangam’s music is from latest releases of hindi movie songs, to ablums, hits of 70’s, 80's, 90’s and now.

Sur Sangam is produced and presented by “Entertainer of the Year” award winner Nitin Madan who is a well known personalty in the bollywood entertainment panorama in Sydney. Besides being a first-rate radio jockey, Nitin has also displayed his outstanding skills as a writer, actor, anchor and event organizer.

As an event organizer, Nitin introduced Indian Australian Idol in 2011, a first ever nation wide bollywood singing competition, which has become an annual event attracting participants and audience from all over Australia. This was followed by another national level dance competition Indian Australian Dancing Star in 2012. Both these events have touched the pinnacle of popularity, something everyone looks forward to. With these events, Nitin takes pride in providing a platform to young generation to showcase their talent and also to stay connected with their roots.

A natural stage performer, Nitin has been Master of Ceremony to many international shows in Sydney like that of Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder Singh, Bhappi lahiri, Master Saleem, Raju Srivastav and countless local and community events. He writes a regular feature “Lo Kar Lo Baat” in Sydney’s pioneer monthly Hindi magazine Hindi Gaurav depicting current affairs with a humorous touch. He exhibited his acting skills in a short film “Jab Rooh Ko Saans Aaye”.
